family and the social worker also engage with other
services in the community that can help partner a response
to support this particular family to improve parenting and
protect child safety.
Q Okay. And on the protection side it looks
essentially the same as it did previously?

Yes. Although, you know, it is important to note

that on the protection side, even though investigation is
the focus, workers do strive to develop working
relationships and supportive relationships with those
families to improve the wellbeing of those children. So, I
mean, the difference, the difference is, is important but
