1. A maximum of 120 credit hours earned at community colleges may be applied toward a Baccalaureate degree.<br />
2. Students with the Associate of Arts Transfer Degree (AA/OT) from an accredited <strong>Oregon</strong> community college will be considered as having met the general education<br />
requirements at Eastern.<br />
3. Courses in which “D” grades have been earned will transfer to Eastern.<br />
4. For a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree: In addition to completing the General Education Distribution Requirements, students are required to demonstrate the application<br />
of mathematics at the college level. Means for satisfying this requirement are described in each major at Eastern.<br />
5. For a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree: In addition to completing the General Education Distribution Requirements, students are required to demonstrate proficiency in a<br />
single foreign language (completion of a second-year foreign language course sequence or equivalency).<br />
6. Courses in the major will meet General Education Distribution Requirements. Example: a history major can use an approved history course to fulfill the social<br />
science requirement.<br />
7. Students entering Eastern beginning fall 2004 must complete a Writing course at or above the 200 level. Students entering Eastern prior to fall term 2004 must<br />
complete the Writing Proficiency Exam.<br />
8. Only courses with a letter prefix and a number of 100 or higher are considered transferable.<br />
