Notes:<br />

1. A maximum of 124 credit hours earned at a community college may be applied toward a Baccalaureate degree.<br />

2. No more than two courses from the same department may be used to fulfill the Perspectives Category of the core.<br />

3. In general, only courses with letter prefixes and numbers above 100 are accepted at OSU.<br />

4. Students with vocational/technical credits (normally two or four digit numbers) should contact the assistant registrar at OSU for assistance in determining<br />

transferability of these courses to an OSU major.<br />

5. Departments, schools, or colleges at OSU may restrict the courses used by their major students to satisfy each general educational component.<br />

6. OSU will accept “D” grades for some courses. Some departments, schools, or colleges may not accept “D” grades in required courses.<br />

7. Students with an Associate of Arts Transfer Degree (AA/OT) from <strong>Southwestern</strong> <strong>Oregon</strong> <strong>Community</strong> <strong>College</strong> will be considered as having met OSU's lower<br />

division BACC requirements.<br />

8. OSU will accept up to 12 hours of professional/technical coursework on a credit-only basis. Grades for these courses count as pass only. Students with<br />

professional/technical credits similar to those available in their major should contact the head of the department to determine transferability.<br />
