Notes:<br />

1. Transfer students seeking a Baccalaureate degree must complete a minimum of 60 credits of upper division work before a degree will be awarded. Upper division<br />

work is defined as 300 and 400 level courses at a Bachelor's degree granting institution.<br />

2. OIT considers for transfer those courses that carry a grade of “D” or better. However, many OIT departments require “C” or better course grades for prerequisite and<br />

graduation purposes.<br />

3. Students who have earned an Associate of Arts Transfer Degree (AA/OT) from <strong>Southwestern</strong> <strong>Oregon</strong> <strong>Community</strong> <strong>College</strong> will be considered as having met the<br />

lower division General Education Requirements at OIT.<br />

4. Students seeking a Civil Engineering degree at OIT may not use "performance" based humanities (ART, MUS, TA) to satisfy the general education requirements.<br />

5. In general, courses with a letter prefix and a number of 100 or higher are considered transferable to OIT.<br />

6. Refer to the OIT catalog to ensure proper course selection for desired major.<br />
