Clause of Insurance of work
1. As per the guidelines of the Directorate of Insurance, Maharashtra State, the
contractor should protect his work and workers by insurances, under
appropriate insurance policy of Government Insurance Fund.
2. Before commencement of work the contractor should produce the details of
insurance policy / certificate of insurance after insuring the work and
workers employed, by himself or through any other agency, on that work,
From Govt. Insurance fund or its authorized insurance company or agent.
3. If the work is started without producing details of insurance policy, the
amount of premium at the rate of 1% of the cost of the work done will be
deducted from R.A. bills and same will be deposited to Government
Insurance Fund.
