Mobile installation procedure for Sharp<br />

• Connect your wires as follows:<br />

Navigator connection<br />

Relays 1 and 2<br />

Inputs 1A and 2A<br />

GND<br />

Inputs 1D and 2D<br />

IGN<br />

GND<br />

REV<br />

What it’s used for<br />

90V relays used for switching auxiliary equipment.<br />

Analog inputs used to measure battery voltage, temperature, etc.<br />

Grounding<br />

Digital inputs used for sensors handling events such as doors<br />

opening, etc.<br />

Ignition input. State of the vehicle’s power system.<br />

Grounding<br />

Reverse input. Connect to vehicle’s reverse signal (required for<br />

inertial navigation).<br />

- ODO and + ODO Odometry inputs. Connect to the vehicle’s odometry signal (required<br />

for inertial navigation).<br />

Finishing up<br />

1 Start your vehicle to verify that your <strong>AutoVu</strong> hardware, as well as your vehicle’s other<br />

electrical devices, are working properly.<br />

2 Seal the holes in the vehicle’s roof with a weatherproof sealant, such as RTV silicone.<br />

3 Replace the vehicle’s headliner and any other parts you removed to install your <strong>AutoVu</strong><br />

hardware.<br />

Magnetic mount installation<br />

Your <strong>AutoVu</strong> hardware can be used as a portable LPR solution with a single Sharp camera<br />

on a magnetic mount (mag-mount), connected to a breakout box that is plugged into your<br />

vehicle’s cigarette lighter.<br />
