102 With Love to Muhammad sa the Khātam-un-Nabiyyīn<br />

women, and I am the Seal of the Prophets; there is no prophet<br />

after me”. 89<br />

The response for the above hadīth is the same as the<br />

response given for a similar narration in the chapter entitled<br />

Relationship of Khātam-un-Nabiyyīn to Lā Nabiyya Ba‘adī.<br />

However, just to shed new light on this issue, the following<br />

quotation of Hazrat Mirzā Tāhir Ahmad rh is being presented<br />

here:<br />

There is a hadīth that sheds more light on the word<br />

ba‘ad. Hazrat Muhy-ud-Dīn Ibn ‘Arabī rh , the worldrenowned<br />

Muslim scholar and commentator (died<br />

638 A.H.), in his book Fūtūhāt Makkiyyah, has<br />

elaborated on the following hadīth. The hadīth reads:<br />

aاذاa aو aبدہ aر a aر aک aاذا aال م<br />

‏(بخاری aتابa<br />

ک aری<br />

الاان aو aاذور۔ aباب aف aات aن aباa<br />

Hazrat Jābir Bin Sumrah ra reports: “The Holy<br />

Prophet sa said, ‘When this Caesar will die, there will<br />

be no Caesar after him and when this Khosroe will<br />

die, there will be no Khosroe after him’. [Sahīh<br />

Bukhārī, Book of Faith]. In this hadīth, the Holy<br />

Prophet sa in his unique wisdom has clearly explained<br />

the meaning of the words “ aبدہ ” (And there is none<br />
