Interreligious Foundation for
Community Organization (IFCO)
IFCO is a national ecumenical agency created
in 1966 by several Protestant, Roman
Catholic and Jewish organizations, to be an
interreligious, interracial agency for support of
community organization and education in pursuit
of social justice. Through IFCO, national
and regional religious bodies collaborate in
development of social justice strategies and
provide financial support and technical assistance
to local, national and international socialjustice
projects.
IFCO serves as a bridge between the
churches and communities and acts as a
resource for ministers and congregations wishing
to better understand and do more to advance
the struggles of the poor and oppressed. IFCO
conducts workshops for community organizers
and uses its national and international network
of organizers, clergy and other professionals to
act in the interest of justice.
Churches, foundations and individual donors
use IFCO services as a fiscal agent to make
donations to community organizing projects.
IFCO’s global outreach includes humanitarian
aid shipments through its Pastors for Peace
program to Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, Honduras,
and Chiapas, Mexico.

The Kairos Institute, Inc.
The Kairos Institute provides quality support,
consultation and in-depth educational opportunities
to the professional, medical, mental health
and religious communities and promotes assistance,
consultation, education and care to families
of exceptional children. It’s clergy consultation
service provides care to many denominations
and clergy. “Career Path” offers candidate
assessment for ordination and consultation for
clergy in transition.

The Liturgical Conference
The Liturgical Conference works to renew
liturgy within the churches for the reunion of the
Body of Christ for the life of the world.
As an ongoing movement with the ecumenical
church, founded in 1944, it seeks to provide an
ecumenical forum for articulating standards of
liturgical excellence and for supporting persons
who have a common interest and concern for the
liturgical life and the liturgical arts of the church.
It is the publisher of the journals Liturgy and
Homily Service.

Lombard Mennonite Peace Center
The Lombard Mennonite Peace Center
(LMPC) is a nonprofit organization with the
mission “to proclaim Christ’s good news, the
gospel of peace and justice—and to be active in
the sacred ministry of reconciliation.” With an
emphasis on equipping clergy and churches to
function in healthy ways, LMPC offers training
in conflict transformation and in a family systems
approach to church leaders’ management
of themselves and their congregations.
One- and two-day educational workshops
and a five-day “Mediation Skills Training
Institute for Church Leaders” are offered
throughout the U.S. Ongoing clergy clinics provide
church leaders with regular opportunities
to reflect on their own functioning. LMPC also
provides educational events, consultation and
mediation services for congregations and judicatories
of all denominations, as well as consultation
for individual clergy.
Founded in 1983 as a ministry of a local congregation,
LMPC became an independent,
501(c)3 corporation in 1997.
