Mennonite Central Committee
Canada (MCCC)
Mennonite Central Committee Canada was
organized in 1964 to continue the work which
several regional Canadian inter-Mennonite agencies
had been doing in relief, service, immigration
Committee (MCC) International which has its
headquarters in Akron, Pa. from where most of
the overseas development and relief projects are
administered. In 2000-2001 MCCC’s income
was $25 million, about 47 percent of the total
MCC income. There were 408 Canadians out of
a total of 867 MCC workers serving in North
America and abroad during the same time period.
The MCC office in Winnipeg administers projects
located in Canada. Domestic programs of
Voluntary Service, Native Concerns, Peace and
Social Concerns, Food Program, Employment
Concerns, Ottawa Office, Victim-Offender
