ORGANIZATIONS<br />
conferences, CETA seeks presentations that<br />
will speak to a general theologically-educated<br />
audience, rather than to specialists.<br />
CETA has special interest in evangelical<br />
points <strong>of</strong> view upon <strong>and</strong> contributions to the<br />
wider conversations regarding religious studies<br />
<strong>and</strong> church life. Members therefore include pastors,<br />
students <strong>and</strong> other interested persons as<br />
well as pr<strong>of</strong>essional academicians. CETA currently<br />
includes about 100 members, many <strong>of</strong><br />
whom attend its annual conference in the early<br />
summer. It publishes the <strong>Canadian</strong> Evangelical<br />
Review <strong>and</strong> supports an active internet discussion<br />
group, which may be accessed by emailing<br />
ceta-l@egroups.com.<br />

The <strong>Canadian</strong> Tract Society was organized in<br />
1970 as an independent distributor <strong>of</strong> Gospel<br />
leaflets to provide <strong>Canadian</strong> churches <strong>and</strong> individual<br />
Christians with quality materials proclaiming<br />
the Gospel through the printed page. It<br />
is affiliated with the <strong>American</strong> Tract Society,<br />
which encouraged its formation <strong>and</strong> assisted in<br />
its founding, <strong>and</strong> for whom it serves as an<br />
exclusive <strong>Canadian</strong> distributor. The CTS is a<br />
nonpr<strong>of</strong>it international service ministry.<br />

The Church Army in Canada<br />
The Church Army in Canada has been involved<br />
in evangelism <strong>and</strong> Christian social service since<br />
1929. Church Army is a Society <strong>of</strong> Evangelists<br />
dedicated to helping bring people from all walks<br />
<strong>of</strong> life into a living relationship with Jesus Christ<br />
<strong>and</strong> His people. We are pressing on toward 80<br />
years in Canada with these endeavours, <strong>and</strong> many<br />
