Richard Jones '88, and his
wife, Alyse, recentiy celebrated
the birth of their first
chUd (Richard V). Brodier
Jones is the news coordinator
for the University of Florida's
CoUege of Engineering.
WiUiam Poe '53 received
the Merchants Association of
Florida's Florida Enterprise
Medal, the highest honor for
an entrepreneur in the state.
Poe recentiy merged his insurance
company with that of
Brother J. Hyatt Brown '59,
to create one of the largest
brokerages in the U.S.
Georgia
Frank Holden Jr. '58, has
joined the Chicago-based
Real Estate Educators Association,
an association of more
than 1,000 educators in the
U.S., Canada, and Australia.
Idaho
Michael St. Marie '77,
was ordained into the Priesthood
by the Catholic Church
of Idaho on June 9 at St.
John's Cathedral in Boise, ID.
He served General Headquarters
as a chapter consultant for
1980 - 82.
Cmdr Richard L. Martin

Desert Storm Brother Martin
was awarded two Air Medals

Medal with Combat "V." His
next assignment for the Navy
wUl be staff air operations officer
of Commander Carrier
Group Three.
Louisiana State
Carl Stages Jr. '81, executive
director of the Greater
Baton Rouge Food Bank, received
an award honoring the
Food Bank as an Employer of
the Older Worker. The Food
Bank, a non-profit organization
that distributes food to
charities for the needy, has
hired 49% of its workers from
the 55 and over age group.
