Keith Koval, Pitt '88, had

Golf was followed by
fim and fellowship and a
fantastic steak dinner.

weekly meetings at noon
on the eleventh floor of
Kaufmann's Department
Store in downtown
Pittsburgh.
Southwest Florida
Members of the Southwest
Florida Alumni Club
reunited for a luncheon
meeting on Tuesday,
January 12, to share in
some good fraternal
fellowship and finalize
plans for the annual
Any fellow Phis living in
the Southwest Florida
area and desiring
information on the club's
activities are encouraged

Of particular concern are
those Phis who are
eligible to receive either
their Silver Legion or
Golden Legion recognition
awards. These
presentation will be made
at the Founders Day
Banquet in March.
St. Petersburg Beach
The club's Founders
Day Banquet was held on
Friday, February 26th, at
the Lakewood Country
St. Petersburg Beach Alumni Club president, Leo Leonardi,
presents a plaque to past president, Mark Lewis.
Founders Day Banquet. In
addition, there will be
discussions regarding
activities for the upcoming
year. Some of the ideas
under consideration
include a golf outing and a
deep-sea fishing trip.
The chib is looking
forward to a great year.
Club. Two of the club
members received their
Golden Legionnaire
certificates and 17 other
eligible alumni living in the
greater Tampa Bay area
were invited to attend.
Jerry Novario, Ohio '43,
has been appointed to the
Alumni Advisory Board of
Alumni Club of Toronto's football team at the annual
alumni vs. actives touch football game.
Ohio Gamma at Ohio
University. He was one of
several other Phis asked to
be on this newly established
board. The purpose
will be to give advice on
future chapter operations.
Jerry was overwhelmed
when chapter members
visited him and his wife,
Nancy, at the Ohio
University Inn during last
October's Homecoming.
Jerry will remember that
occasion for many years to
come!
The club has given
contributions to the Phi
Delta Theta Foundation in
memory of Brother Dick
Davis, Union '35, and Dick
Raymond, Florida '35, who
recently entered the
Chapter Grand. Since the
members of the club are
from different chapters
across the United States,
the members believe gifts
to the Foundation rather
than individual chapters
will better serve the future
of the entire Fraternity.
Toronto
The Alumni Club of
Toronto will be sponsoring
an alumni event at a
Toronto Blue Jays baseball
game. The Blue Jays will be
playing the Detroit Tigers
on Thurday evening. May
13. Interested alumni

Tucson
Three new inductees
were welcomed into the
Jack B. Dowd Arizona
Alpha Hall of Fame this fall
during Homecoming
Weekend. They are: Joseph
S. Robbins '49, Kurt E.
Storch '50, and John O.
Franklin '59. These men
were selected for their
distinguished professional
and civic achievements, as
well as their dedication to
the University of Arizona
and Phi Delta Theta. A
two-sport letterman at the
University of Arizona,
Brother Storch had been
looking forward to this
special day since his stroke
and surgery this past year.
We are all encouraged to
see his great progress.
The fantastic Homecoming
Weekend also saw the
University of Arizona
Wildcats upset the University
of Washington
Huskies! The Tucson
Alumni Club, along with
the Arizona Alpha Chapter
and house corporation, set
up a double-sized tent on
the University of Arizona
Mall that became a hub of
