DISCUSSION
At a January 26, 2009 meeting with the Commission the applicant advised of his
willingness to explore opportunities to offset impacts to the agricultural land base and
to adjacent agricultural operations if the application for exclusion is approved. More
specifically, the applicant suggested the potential inclusion of land into the ALR. As a
result of this discussion the Commission expressed some interest in getting more details
from the applicant.
