John(1795--1867) and Sarah(ca.1796-) Edrnandson migrated to Lewis Twp.
Clay Co. Indiana, in 1840, He was a well-known Methodist minister.
( They had three children that I know of definitely:
Wesley(lB23-1903) who married Caroline Moss
Mary(1832-) who married George Puckett
Susan Jane(1846-) who married Joel Bucklew from Tenn.
Both John and Sarah Grayson Edrnondson are buried near Jasonville, Ind.
Clay co.
I Francis(1802-1685) and Jane Grayson Edmonson lived for a short time
near the Clinch River in Tenn. before migrating by wagon to Morgan Co.
Indiana, in 1829. In 1831, they came to Hendricks Co. Ind., where
( they died and are buried.

According to family stories, Jane and Sarah Grayson were sisters,
and the daughters of one "Big Ben" Grayson of Knox Co. Tennessee,
who was "sandy haired and had considerable musical abilityvt. No one
seems to know what Ben's wife's name was, but, again, supposedly,
before Jane and Sarah left for Indiana, the mother gave each of the
girls a piece of family furniture to remind them of their Tennessee
home. Sarah was given a bedstead, and Jane, a cherry bureau. The
bureau was handed down to my family by Jane, my great-great grandrnott~er.
Sincerely hope that all of this miscellaneous information w i l l ring
a bell s0rnek~hr.r~--it's all I have been able to gather after years of
searching.

Dear Dr. Grayson:
Our pro~enetor was John Grayson, of
Christ Church Yarish, Lancaster, Va, in 1700.
HIR father was John Sr, who went back to 1636
but we have nothing on him except that he exsisted
in Lancaster, John Jr. was the father
of Capt. Eeujamin Grayson who married Susanna
Monroe, grandparents of John William~ of Eelle
Air, Albermarle, Va. My grandfather was the
Eon of Con~res~man John Williams Grayson of
Ala. I will send you all. that 1 have as eoon
as I'yecieve Rome information from the last
of our line.
