GRAYSON GENEALOGY NEWSUTTER,. WL.. 2 NO.. 4. Page 71,
Some have asked about paying in advance and what to expect
in costs for the future, L suggest paying 1 issue in advance
but not for much more because if I should decide to take up
another hobby, there is no organization as yet to provide
continuity. That bring s up the question: who would volunteer
to be assistant editor of this sheet as a stand-by At present
I plan a 20 page hews3etter every 3 or 4 weeks for $3,00, which
Is at mst for Xeroxing, envelope, 35$ stamp, and statement,
The 13th Grayson place name: found by Howard E. Grayson of
steamboat Yellowstone which was used to transport Houston's
troops) and supplies during the Texas Revolution, The exhibit is
Howard also reports that there is currently a Vi rginia State senator
named George Grayson; Howard , why not contact him for his
lineage for us
Mrw. Davidson: thank you for the offdr of the 1850 census indexes
with the name Grayson, Perhaps we should put them in the Newsletter
if they would fit in an issue,
On pages, 72 thfiugh 78 is a 1969 report:,onl Capt, William Grayson
(1732-1829) by the genealogist George H,S..King, This report
was in the material-so graciously donated by Mrs, Dorothy Wulfeck,.
On pages 79-80 is another nice summary of the first Graysons from
the same a~llection, On page 81 is a summary from Kozee, On
pp. 82-3 is a story of the name Grsyson and early families, authart
unkown to me, but from the Wulfeck collection, On page 84. is an
old but intxiging letter suggestin that the first John Grayson
lnformt$ion on this On page 85 is a aopy of the 2nd page of the
