On page 51 In the last <strong>Newsletter</strong> was reported an unidentified<br />
William E. Gxayson listed in deed books.of Clairborn co,, Tenn.<br />
in 1859-1868, I think I have information now: therc was an<br />
old letter in the Wulfeck collection (1957) from a<br />
Gra son of 3208 Michigan Blvd,, Racine, Wisc. who said that<br />
& grandmother Lucinda Marilly Bates, bo 12/11/1826 in . .<br />
Va. (7) d, St, Louis, 5/25/1891, married William E. Grays3<br />
b. NoCe. (7). married in Wytheville, Va, m5, moved to Yenn. ()<br />
about 1852, then to near Lebanon & Tren*on, 111, where the father<br />
of John D, Grays.on, the late Charles Drayton <strong>Grayson</strong> and his<br />
brother William H. Gragson were John U. <strong>Grayson</strong> was b.<br />
Monroe City, Moo, 1905.<br />
On page 88 is a new letter from anothes descendant of Zachary<br />
Taylor~rasgon, Claude Gra,yson. Note to Kitty Jean: would you<br />
express our appreciation to Claude for his letter<br />
Page 88-90 are the 1st 2 pages of a 21 page summary of <strong>Grayson</strong><br />
records by Mrs, gor~thy Ford Wulfeck of Naugatuck, Conn,, now<br />
a retired genealogist, <strong>The</strong> last and 21st pageis on page 81 of<br />
this <strong>Newsletter</strong>, inadvertantly. I will gradually publish the other<br />
18 pages In subsequent <strong>Newsletter</strong>s,<br />
<strong>The</strong> 14th <strong>Grayson</strong> place name has been uncovered; In tho above nentiontd-<br />
1957 letter from John D, <strong>Grayson</strong>, he states that there is<br />
a ~il~iam <strong>Grayson</strong> Shdiurn in S~.vannah, Gao, and that a politician<br />
in that city at that time was a Clinton <strong>Grayson</strong>. Clieryl Graysolz<br />
is in Savannah, Ga*: Could you look into this for us<br />
Fortunately 1 have more material this time than there is room<br />
t;lD print, so therc will be more issues definitely. I am trying;<br />
to cull the material so that it is the most universally interesting<br />
and important,<br />
