From Virginia, it is not known<br />
where Joseph Gravson first I<br />
married, nor to whom he was<br />
first marrid. However liis first<br />
marriage(s) produced at<br />
least five children: Joseph, Jr.,<br />
,q Benjamin, Willi~m, Isaac, and<br />
Susannah. Khen Joseph's sons<br />
became of age he sold them<br />
various parts oi nis estate: Joseph,<br />
Jr., 153 acres; Benjamin,<br />
178 acres; William, $2 acres;<br />
and Isaac, 153 acres. Those<br />
tracts were primarily from Joseph<br />
Sr.'s purchases of 1796,<br />
1799 and 1802.<br />
