( Dear Dr. Grayson,

I have been sick so therefore do not have anything to contribute.
( This doesn't mean that I am not interested. I was especially glad
to see the Who's Who in the last issue. The data on Dr. James
I McDonald Grayson, professor of Entomology at VPI, enabled me finish
a chart I had started on his family line. I had corresponded with

his mother several years'5nd she was able to give me some data on
1 I her husbsndts family. Dr. James McDonald Grayson is the son of
James McNutt Grayson son of James Floyd Grayson son of James William
Grayson son of Ambrose Grayson son of William Grayson son of
John Grayson (d. 1802 Montgomery Co,, Va. ) etc. The last John
I Grayson was my g~at-great-great grandfather.
