In response to a Soden post card; RichardGrayson, MOD. of Selma,
Ala, writes that he was born 1902, that his father was Claude C,
Grayson born 1857 Auburn, Ala., and that his father was Spcnce
Monroe Grayson born 1812 at Alexandria, Vao, the son of Revo Spcnca
Monroe. Grayson of Be1 Aim near Alexandria.

On page 99 is an article onr Ambrose Grayson of Texas from a Hendcrsom
newspaper of 1901 scnt bp,Mrs, Petty, Also are reprints of Graysons
from who's who of 1938 and of 1944 sent; by Eoward Grayson, These are
Interesting artioles. Also from 1934 Who's who and a supplement are other
articles on that page. On page 101 are 2 biographies sent by
Howard Grayson, linking the SoCi.oongressman to the Va. senaton, This
appears to be a mistake in the record. The congressman was of a diffcr-
ent lineage entirely.

I-am serializingo The 1st 2 pages were prlnted last issue and are
listed as pages~89 and 90,.There are a total of 27 pages In thismanuscript,
so today's 4 pages makes a total of 6 printed serially,
plus the page 21 which appeared out of order i.21 last issue.

Pages 107.8.9 are War of 1812 Pension and Roster records- from the
National Archives sent from Howard Grayson, Many thanks, Howard: these
should prove valuableo I notice myiancesto~ Wren,his br.othcr Jesse, and
his cousin Benjamin on the list. This will be convenient for Grayson
researchers, Howard, I know of no Charles W. Grayson born about 1839.
Does anyone else Howard thinks the Grayson Stadium in Savannah, Ga.
was named for a Lt. Cove named Spencer Grayson, Howard,for the record,
finds Grayson streets in: le.San Ant onio Zo.Austin, Tcx, 3oWoodridge, Va.,
and 4, Portsmouth, Va, Lbelieve we listed tho San Antonio street
alreadg, so the other 3 Grayson streets make the 15th. 16th. & 17th
Grayson place names.
