Tax lists from Wilkss county show BcnJamin <strong>Grayson</strong> every yeast from<br />

1785 through 1800. In the year 1799 he was listed as Benjamin<br />

Grays,on, senior. In 1799 also, a BenJamin Graysoa, junior, was:<br />

en the tax list for the first and only tim, with zero acresan&<br />

1 poll,.Benjamin, sr., had 290 acres and no polls. that year.<br />

In the 1800 census Benjamln Grayaon is listedr.1 nala over 45, 1<br />

male 16-26, and 1 female over 45,.John <strong>Grayson</strong>, Joseph Graysen,<br />

and Benjamin <strong>Grayson</strong>, jr. arc gone in the 1800 census. Jesse<br />

<strong>Grayson</strong> was pr~sent as 3molcs 16-26, 1 mala under lo,, 2 fcmolesi<br />
