a Court continued and hold for adjusting disputed land titles<br />

to the Kentucky lands at brrodsburg tills the 4th November '1779, present<br />

William Flemicg, Stephen Trigg and Edmund Lyne, Gentlen.<br />

John Gordon this day claimed a right to a sottle~ent and pre-<br />

empi;ion to a tract of 1uAd lying on. the water of Shawnee Run, by the<br />

aaid Gordon who raised corn on the premises in the year 1776. Satisfactory<br />

proof being made to the Court they are of the opinion that -th~<br />

said Gordon has a richt to a settlement of 400 acres including .the<br />

said settlement and the preemption of 1000 acres adjoining and that a<br />

cerlific~te issue accordingly.<br />

John <strong>Grayson</strong> this day claimed a right to a settlement ant! preemption<br />

to a tract of land lying on tho waters of Cnin Run joining the<br />

lands of James 1Klkeys by improving tho same and raising a crop of<br />

corn in thig country in the year 1775. Satisfactory pr~of being mado<br />

to the Court they are of the opinion that the seid <strong>Grayson</strong> has a right<br />

to settlement of &DO acres including the same improve~ent and the preemption<br />

of 1000 acres adjoining a~d that a certificate issue for same<br />

accordingly.<br />
