2013 2010 2010 Budget Budget Highlights:
$1,700,000 replacement of the Warren Avenue
Bridge Watermain and associated seismic
upgrade to pipe supports and restraints
and installation of seismic isolation valves
for watermains on both bridges.
Replacement of the water mains on Pacific
Avenue between 6 th and 11 th during the
Street project
Construction of improvements in preparation
for the move of the Engineering Division to
the Oyster Bay Facility in 2014
On-going minor capital upgrades to the distribution
system, pump stations, reservoirs
and treatment facilities
2010 2013 Capital Considerations:
All major capital work proposed is rate
funded.
2012 2009 2009 Accomplishments:
Completed Audit and OIG Investigations of
the ARRA funded UV facility
Separated power service of the Oyster Bay
warehouse from the Administration Building
and activated antenna to allow Water Resources
relocation to the Oyster Bay facility.
Replaced cast iron watermain under 4 th
Street with street/cinema project.
Design of the Warren Avenue Bridge watermain
project.
Coordination with the Jarstad Family for
improvements to Jarstad Park
