LOCTITE ® INDIGO 7418 VISIBLE LIGHT FLOOD SYSTEM

The Loctite® Indigo 7418 Visible Light Flood System, item 971031,
is a unique visible light flood system designed for curing Loctite®
3552 and 3553 Indigo Visible Light Cure Adhesives. This can
be used as a high intensity, benchtop modular light cure system.
The lamp can be mounted over existing material handling systems
such as conveyors. These units can also be stacked side-by-side
to increase the effective curing area. This unit includes an
operations manual, the lamp with reflector housing, and
associated power cords.
Features:
• Contains a 4 inch, 400 watt visible arc bulb
• Optimized to emit in the visible region
(greater than 400 nm)
• Typical curing area of 2" by 4"
• Average irradiance of 225 mW/cm 2 at a 2" distance
• 2000 hours of expected bulb life with proper handling
• Protective glass to shield the light source
from direct contact
• Allows curing through colored substrates
• Can achieve cure through depths over 1 ⁄2"
Theory of Operation
The operator places the part under the lamp for the
pre-determined exposure time. Upon completion of the
exposure time, the operator removes the part from
under the lamp.
