With the proper shielding, cooling and venting (not included with this product), this light source can be integrated into both prototype and production applications. This unit is designed specifically for the user who wants to integrate their own shielding, cooling, venting and mounting systems into a production line. A 220 VAC, 50 Hz unit is available as item 982440. Features: • Contains a 5 inch, 300 watts/inch medium pressure mercury vapor bulb – Item Number 980161 • Variable bulb wattage: 200 or 300 watts/inch • Designed to emit in the UVA and UVB regions • Typical curing area of 4.5" x 6" • 1,000 hours of expected UV bulb life with proper handling and maintenance Theory of Operation To assemble a component with a UV curing adhesive or coating, place and remove the part manually or automatically under the light source. The customer will provide their own mounting, shielding, cooling, and venting for this unit.
