LOCTITE ® 300 ML CARTRIDGE PUSHER

The Loctite® 300 ml Cartridge Pusher is designed for dispensing low to medium viscosity products. The cartridge pusher
mechanically applies pressure to the cartridge plunger using a pneumatically driven ram, removing the possibility of air
entrapment in the cartridge. There is a low level sensor that is compatible with Loctite® brand controllers (items 97101, 97123,
or 1022006). An automatic dispense valve will also be required for final application of the product. Controllers and valves are
sold separately. Not recommended for high viscosity or paste materials.
Features:
• Mechanical ram provides product pressure, eliminating risk of
inducing air into product, as is the case with pneumatic dispensers
• Equipped with a low level sensor that can be integrated to a PLC
or any Loctite® brand digital controller
• A grease reservoir is included which continually applies a thin film
of grease to the plunger shaft to maintain free operation of the ram
• Integral air pressure regulator/gauge
• The cartridge retainer can be removed for easy maintenance
• Can be mounted vertically or horizontally
Theory of Operation
The Loctite® 300 ml Cartridge Pusher is a front-loaded,
free-standing device that can be coupled with a Loctite® Digital
Dispense Controller, Loctite® Digital Multi-Functional Controller,
or integrated into an existing work cell. Pressurized air is
supplied to the air regulator to control the air pressure that
flows into the ram cylinder. A hand lever, pneumatic, three-way
valve channels the pressurized air into the pneumatic cylinder.
Moving the hand lever toward the cartridge sleeve causes the
piston to move forward, pressing product out of the 300 ml
cartridge through a product feed line. Moving the hand lever
up toward the air cylinder causes the piston to retract. A reed
switch assembly is located on the air cylinder, equipped with
an LED indicator. Once activated, the LED indicator will light
up and the switch will communicate a low level condition
to a Loctite® Digital Dispense Controller or Loctite® Digital
Multi-Functional Controller. The reed switch is activated by a
permanent magnet located on the piston within the air cylinder.

The Loctite® 2.25 Gallon Pressure Reservoir is our largest stand-alone reservoir designed
for use with Loctite® brand pressure-time dispense systems, sold separately, and will
accommodate up to 2 kg packages. The unit is made of heavy, deep-drawn, one-piece steel
construction and comes equipped with a pressure regulator, gauge, pressure safety relief
valve, and product feed line connector.
