LOCTITE ® SPRAY VALVE CONTROLLER

The Loctite® Spray Valve Controller provides 2 independent air signals and is designed to work integrally with the Loctite® Spray
Valve (item 98520), providing the open/close signal and atomizing air supply, see page 69. The digital timing control can be
adjusted separately for Pre-Spray, Spray, and Post-Spray time sequences.
This timing flexibility allows the unit to be used for any single-acting
automatic control valve or hand held pneumatic valve.
This unit can also integrate with an external PLC.

Theory of Operation
Product flows from a reservoir under air pressure as provided by
the Loctite® Spray Valve Controller. The controller also provides
air to open/close the valve and a separate atomizing air source to
the spray valve nozzle assembly. Timing and pressure controls for
atomizing air, fluid line pressure, valve stroke adjustment,
height from surface, and material viscosity can be adjusted to
optimize required dispense quantity and coverage pattern.

LOCTITE ® DIGITAL MULTI-FUNCTIONAL CONTROLLER

The Loctite® Digital Multi-Functional Controller is a versatile, programmable
controller designed to provide on/off digital timing and interface logic for up to
three independent functions, pneumatic or electric. A typical use for this unit
would be to operate a dispense valve, advancing slide mechanism, and a turntable
in a workstation. It is readily compatible with low level sensors from Loctite® brand
reservoirs and the Loctite® 300 ml Cartridge Pusher. It has an interface for twohand,
anti-tie-down start switches that makes it ideal for workstation applications
by eliminating the potential for pinch points. It also includes an interface for
a part present sensor, a dispense confirmation sensor, and can provide interface
signals to a host PLC.

multiple devices in 0.1 second increments

present sensors, dispense confirmation sensors, slide

Theory of Operation
The Loctite® Digital Multi-Functional Controller, when used
with a Loctite® Dispense Valve and Reservoir, provides a
complete automated dispense system. The controller provides
digital timing control for any Loctite® brand automatic dispense
valve, advancing slide, turntable, or rotospray system. Dispense
time range is from 0.01 to 59.99 seconds in 0.01 second
increments for precise and repeatable dispensing.
