LOCTITE ® MANUAL HAND HELD APPLICATOR

The Loctite® Manual Hand Held Applicator is a consistent performing, highly reliable, adhesive
dispense valve. It features a manual trigger actuator that is ergonomically designed for comfort,
application control, and a low actuation force to reduce hand fatigue. It also incorporates a
suck-back feature that prevents dripping or stringing. This valve must be used in conjunction
with a Loctite® Bond-A-Matic® 3000 Reservoir (item 982726 for low viscosity, item 982727
for medium to high viscosity), sold separately. Since this valve is manually controlled,
it is not capable of timed dispensing or compatible with low level sensing.

Theory of Operation
The hand held applicator is a modular design made up of a
product shut-off valve and valve actuator. This type of design
provides quick on-line serviceability. The adjustable suck-back
feature eliminates stringing and dripping. The shut- off of the
Loctite® Hand Held Applicator takes place mechanically with the
spring return of the shutoff piston to the rest position. Choose
from four optional Loctite® Bond-A-Matic® Reservoirs that can
be used with the Loctite® Hand Held Applicator.
