DISPENSING Valves & Pumps Valves & Pumps Loctite® brand dispensing valves and pumps are value-added, robust, dispensing valves for adhesive or fluid delivery. Each valve is uniquely designed to meet different manufacturing needs. These valves should be combined with a reservoir and/or a controller. Selection of a Loctite® brand valve or pump is based on the chemistry and viscosity of the adhesive or fluid being used and process requirements. DISPENSING Dispense Controller and Reservoir are required with these valves. Valves & Pumps HIGH PRECISION VALVES LOCTITE ® STATIONARY APPLICATOR VALVE Item Numbers: 97113 and 97114 The Loctite® Stationary Applicator Valve is a slim, lightweight, patented, seal-less dispense valve. It utilizes double-acting, adjustable air to open and close cylinders which allows for precise valve sequencing to meet your most stringent pressure-time dispense requirements. This valve also features adjustable suck-back to eliminate stringing and dripping, and modular design providing for on-line serviceability. It is suitable with all low to medium adhesive viscosities. This valve must be Type used in conjunction with a Loctite® brand controller, product Viscosity Range reservoir and dispense tip, sold separately. Size Weight Features: • Slim, lightweight, patented seal-less dispense valve • Modular design of product shut-off valve and valve actuator provides on-line serviceability • Fail safe – spring assisted close • Suck-back feature eliminates product stringing • Double-acting cylinder allows adjustable opening and closing speed for process control • Cycle rate exceeds 36 per minute • Operational with pressure-time applications • Dispenses fluids up to 15,000 cP (item 97113) or 80,000 cP (item 97114) Theory of Operation Product flows to the dispense valve from the reservoir. Adjusting the double-acting cylinders allows control of the valve opening and closing rates. Use of the adjustable suck-back feature eliminates dripping and stringing.
