The Loctite® Pneumatic Hand Held Applicator (item 97112) is a consistent performing, highly
reliable, adhesive dispensing valve. It is ergonomically designed for comfortable, application
control. It also incorporates a suck-back feature that prevents dripping or stringing. This valve
must be used in conjunction with a Loctite® brand controller and product reservoir that are foot
switch activated. These are sold separately.

Item Number: 97116 – Finger Switch Activated
The Loctite® Pneumatic Hand Held Applicator (item 97116) is a consistent performing, highly
reliable, adhesive dispense valve. It features a pneumatic trigger actuator that is ergonomically
designed for comfort, application control, and a low actuation force to reduce hand fatigue. It
also incorporates a suck-back feature that prevents dripping or stringing. This valve must be used
in conjunction with a Loctite® brand controller and product reservoir, sold separately.

• Dispenses products up to 15,000 cP
with 1 ⁄4" feed line (standard)

and automatic controllers
Theory of Operation
Both hand held applicators are a modular design made up of a
product shut-off valve and valve actuator. This type of design
provides quick on-line serviceability. The adjustable suck-back
feature eliminates stringing and dripping. The shut-off of all
hand held applicators takes place mechanically with the spring
return of the shut-off piston to the rest position. Henkel offers a
selection of Loctite® brand product reservoirs that can be used
with the Loctite® Hand Held Applicators.
