Dispense Systems DISPENSING TUBE BONDING LOCTITE ® LIGHT CURE ACRYLIC ADHESIVE DISPENSING SYSTEM Item Number: 98445 The Loctite® Light Cure Acrylic Adhesive Dispensing System is a dispensing system that rapidly and consistently applies a uniform coating of light cure acrylic adhesives to the outer diameter of tubing without adhesive getting into the internal surface of the tube. The dispenser can accommodate circular tubes from 2.0 mm to 6.0 mm in diameter (depending upon bushing size); with a maximum engagement depth of up to 8 mm. Adhesive dispensing onto various diameter tubes is accomplished by using specifically sized stainless steel bushings on the dispense orifice. These bushings are easily interchanged on the dispenser. An electric motor continuously re-circulates adhesive through the dispensing bushing, thus eliminating waste and insuring adhesive is readily available when tubing is inserted into the dispenser. Adhesive Compatibility This unit is designed for use with Light Cure Acrylic Adhesives only. It should not be used with Cyanoacrylates or Light Cure Cyanoacrylates. Features: • Uniform and consistent tube coating using simple one hand operation • Bushing design insures no adhesive contamination of internal tube surface • Easy adhesive adjustment allows operator to optimize adhesive dispense amount • Optional bushings allow a variety of tube diameters • Versatile system designed to apply adhesive to the outer diameter of tubing with optional bushings available • Design prevents light exposure of adhesive in the dispenser • Electric pumping mechanism provides constant adhesive supply and eliminates the need for compressed air • Built-in adhesive level sight glass Theory of Operation The operator adjusts the adhesive application rate to optimize the amount of adhesive applied to the assembly. When the tubing is inserted into the bushing, an internal spring retracts and allows the tubing to be inserted. Upon removing tube, a uniform bead, up to 8 mm, is applied with no adhesive getting onto any internal surface of the tube.
