18.3 Access to EAPs by Employees <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir families will be subject to <strong>the</strong> following:<br />

<strong>the</strong> availability <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> EAP in <strong>the</strong>ir geographical area; (<strong>the</strong> parties recognise that remote<br />

areas may not have direct access to an EAP provider. In <strong>the</strong>se instances, innovative<br />

measures such as telephone counselling, internet <strong>and</strong> travel may be utilised, where<br />

appropriate); <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> relevance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Employee’s family attending <strong>the</strong> counselling service, as determined<br />

by <strong>the</strong> provider; <strong>and</strong><br />

consistent with <strong>the</strong> Department’s policy, <strong>the</strong> cost <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> first 3 work related visits is to<br />

be met by <strong>the</strong> Agency, with <strong>the</strong> cost <strong>of</strong> any subsequent visit by agreement between <strong>the</strong><br />

Agency <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> provider.<br />

19. Prevention <strong>of</strong> Harassment <strong>and</strong> Bullying in <strong>the</strong> Workplace<br />

19.1 The parties are committed to achieving <strong>and</strong> maintaining a safe <strong>and</strong> healthy work<br />

environment, free from harassment <strong>and</strong> bullying behaviour.<br />

19.2 The CEO acknowledges <strong>the</strong> commitment to achieve <strong>and</strong> maintain a safe <strong>and</strong> healthy work<br />

environment <strong>and</strong> will take all reasonably practicable steps to prevent harassment <strong>and</strong><br />

bullying in <strong>the</strong> workplace.<br />

19.3 Employees acknowledge <strong>the</strong> Principles <strong>of</strong> Conduct stated in <strong>the</strong> PSEM Act. In accordance<br />

with <strong>the</strong>se principles, Employees will behave in a pr<strong>of</strong>essional manner in carrying out <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

duties <strong>and</strong> will treat colleagues, supervisors <strong>and</strong> o<strong>the</strong>rs in <strong>the</strong> workplace with courtesy,<br />

dignity <strong>and</strong> respect at all times.<br />

19.4 An Employee who is aggrieved by his or her treatment in employment may seek a review<br />

under <strong>the</strong> PSEM Act.<br />

Division 1 – Classifications, Pay <strong>and</strong> Allowances<br />

20. Classification Descriptions<br />

Descriptors for positions within <strong>the</strong> Nursing classification system are as follows:<br />

Pupil Nurse (3rd year)<br />

20.1 Work is under direct supervision <strong>of</strong> a Registered Nurse.<br />

20.2 Competency at this level involves <strong>the</strong> application <strong>of</strong> knowledge <strong>and</strong> skills, limited to a range<br />

<strong>of</strong> tasks <strong>and</strong> roles that have been assessed as being competent. Evidence <strong>of</strong> competency<br />

remains <strong>the</strong> responsibility <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> student.<br />
