<strong>The</strong> appointment processes in 2011/12 improved the <strong>Judiciary</strong>’s<br />

staffing proportions – which are already constitutionally compliant<br />

– between genders as illustrated in Figure 5.2.<br />

<strong>The</strong> overall year-end gender proportion of 54:46 across the entire<br />

<strong>Judiciary</strong> is broadly mirrored by that for judicial staff, although a<br />

wider gap still exists with regard to judicial officers, as Figure 5.3<br />

illustrates.<br />
