(ICDRC)<br />

Developed the National Values and<br />

Principles of Governance Policy; National<br />

Cohesion and Integration Policy; Policy on<br />

Human Rights, and the GJLOS overarching<br />

sector policy has been finalised and<br />

approved by cabinet for implementation<br />

Facilitated the enactment of over 30 laws to<br />

implement the Constitution<br />

Developed civic education programmes<br />

for the civil service and general public and<br />

contracted 36 multi-sectoral organisations<br />

for implementation in collaboration with<br />

Kenya National Integrated Civic Education<br />

Programme<br />

Collaborated with the Kenya National<br />

Commission on Human Rights to develop<br />

the National Policy and Action Plan on<br />

Human Rights in Kenya<br />

Developed Legal Aid Awareness pilot<br />

schemes at the Nairobi High Court Family<br />

Division; the Nairobi Children’s Court;<br />

the Mombasa Capital Offences; Kisumu-<br />

Paralegal Advise Office; the Nakuru<br />

Children’s; and the Moi University Law Clinic<br />

(Eldoret)<br />
