5. Conclusion<br />

In conclusion, quality control <strong>of</strong> polysaccharides is a challenge because <strong>of</strong> its<br />

complexity. The rapid, sensitive <strong>and</strong> selective methods for quanlitative <strong>and</strong> quantitative<br />

analysis <strong>of</strong> polysaccharides are still the research interest. The relationship between chemical<br />

characteristics <strong>and</strong> the biological activities <strong>of</strong> polysaccharides will also intensively attracte<br />

wide attention <strong>of</strong> pharmaceutical <strong>and</strong> biochemical analysts.<br />
