In <strong>2011</strong>, the percentage of women holdingg senior management positions in the <strong>Telecom</strong> Group was<br />

approximately 12% and, in middle management, the proportion of the <strong>to</strong>tal was 27%.<br />

People Caring<br />

Over the years, the Group has developed several programmes and initiatives <strong>to</strong> support its employees,<br />

<strong>to</strong> improve the quality of their working lives and also <strong>to</strong> support those outside the <strong>Company</strong>.<br />

People Caring is<br />

the <strong>Telecom</strong> <strong>Italia</strong> department created <strong>to</strong> respond <strong>to</strong> the expectations of employees<br />

regarding certain<br />

important issues, identifiedd through active listening carried out both on line (Intranet,<br />

community, email) and throughh meetings andd focus groups. The main <strong>to</strong>pics identified are:<br />

work-life balance;<br />

support for the needs of employees and their families;<br />

support for volunteering initiatives by employees;<br />

• promoting the forms of diversity that existt in the workplace through activities and projects.<br />
