BUSINESS<br />

As regards the Business market, in the second half of <strong>2011</strong>, various initiatives were launched with the<br />

aim of increasing commercial presence both in the fixed and mobile segments.<br />

In the fixed line segment, promotions were introduced – directed at both new cus<strong>to</strong>mers and <strong>Telecom</strong><br />

<strong>Italia</strong> cus<strong>to</strong>mers – which combine the removal of the connection fee and free broadband access for<br />

between three and six months. What’s more, the range of premium phone-data bundle packages (the<br />

Tut<strong>to</strong>compreso profiles) was expanded. These include unlimited calls <strong>to</strong>wards the national fixed phone<br />

network, unlimited ADSL connectivity, free installation and <strong>to</strong>p assistance services.<br />

In the last quarter of <strong>2011</strong>, a solution for small businesses was launched for managing voice services,<br />

and can be used either for PBX services on conventional lines or for VoIP. The solution, which has been<br />

integrated within the infrastructure of <strong>Telecom</strong> <strong>Italia</strong>’s broadband service, is completely compatible with<br />

the cus<strong>to</strong>mer’s system. During 2012 this solution will be integrated with the Virtual PBX Cloud solutions.<br />

In the mobile segment, the “+50%” packages were announced, summer promotions on all bundled<br />

packages which, for the same price, increase the cus<strong>to</strong>mer’s bundle of free minutes by 50%. The range<br />

of flexible packages (Flex profiles) was also extended, with proposals offering discounts on roaming<br />

rates.<br />

In order <strong>to</strong> augment the penetration of large screen devices, the Tablet a zero promotion was launched,<br />

whereby cus<strong>to</strong>mers who activate “Internet in mobilità unlimited” at a cost of 25 euros/month will receive<br />

a Samsung tablet or an Apple iPad, and the one-off payment may be eliminated (in the case of the<br />

smaller version of the Samsung tablet).<br />

Another event marking the last quarter of the year, with the aim of developing the IT market and<br />

sustaining <strong>Telecom</strong> <strong>Italia</strong>’s positioning as an IT provider, was the birth of IL MIO SITO, a complete service<br />

enabling users <strong>to</strong> create a professional website—simply, independently and rapidly—for their business or<br />

activity. The launch plan offers a domain on the internet, free e-mail, fax facilities and web hosting for<br />

the first year, and <strong>to</strong>ols for creating and helping <strong>to</strong> develop the website.<br />

TOP CLIENTS and PUBLIC SECTOR<br />

The last quarter of <strong>2011</strong> saw the launch of services aimed at making <strong>Telecom</strong> <strong>Italia</strong>’s offering on the<br />

Top Client and Public Sec<strong>to</strong>r market even more comprehensive and competitive, positioning<br />

<strong>Telecom</strong> <strong>Italia</strong> as the <strong>Italia</strong>n ICT market’s Number One Infrastructure Provider.<br />

TOP CLIENTS<br />

The product range of the fixed network was enhanced <strong>to</strong> provide a more flexible response <strong>to</strong> cus<strong>to</strong>mers’<br />

requirements with the creation of new 7Mb/sec ADSL Hyperway data access profiles, the availability of<br />

xDSL profiles based on IP and the provision of fiber optic GBE (GigabitEthernet) access in new areas.<br />

With regard <strong>to</strong> mobile voice services, the range of <strong>to</strong>p-up profiles was bolstered by the addition of the All<br />

Inclusive gamma exclusive plan, which includes smartphones, e-mail/internet traffic and new billing<br />

services which keep personal and professional traffic separate.<br />

The evolution of the product range associated with tablets currently available on the market was<br />

ensured by bundles called Pack Exclusive per TOP, with internet traffic included. More than 50 business<br />

applications developed by 10 partners were launched, and can be supplied as part of the package<br />

according <strong>to</strong> the cus<strong>to</strong>mer’s requirements.<br />

With regard <strong>to</strong> IaaS (Infrastructure As A Service) services, efforts were made <strong>to</strong> make the whole range<br />

more flexible. The line of the Nuvola ITHosting Evolu<strong>to</strong> package, the IT infrastructure service developed<br />

for large companies, was improved by the addition of solutions which respond <strong>to</strong> increasingly complex<br />

requirements, also creating Private Cloud services through the Data Center in a Box profile.<br />

Ospit@ Virtuale is a Hosting service for medium-size businesses, with adaptable calculating capacity,<br />

s<strong>to</strong>rage and bandwidth, enhanced by the functions offered by a new management console that can take<br />

care of self-ordering, provisioning and all the ‘consumption’ fac<strong>to</strong>rs.<br />
