Media<br />

The Media Business Unit operates in the business segments TI Media – La7, MTV Group and Network<br />

Opera<strong>to</strong>r. In particular:<br />

• TI Media – La7: includes activities carriedd out by the company relating <strong>to</strong> the television broadcasters<br />

La7 and La7d and those relating <strong>to</strong> the Multimedia/Web (La7.it and La7.tv) area. Up <strong>to</strong> September<br />

30, <strong>2011</strong>, the activities relating r <strong>to</strong> digital content for the <strong>Telecom</strong> <strong>Italia</strong> Groupp had also been<br />

included; this<br />

activity ended on Oc<strong>to</strong>ber 1, <strong>2011</strong> following the early termination t of the contract with<br />

<strong>Telecom</strong> <strong>Italia</strong>;<br />

• MTV Group: includes activities carried out by MTV <strong>Italia</strong>a and its subsidiary MTV Pubblicità relatingg <strong>to</strong><br />

the television broadcasters MTV and MTV Music, the 360° Playmaker production unit, the<br />

production of multimedia musical platforms and satellite channels, in addition <strong>to</strong> MTV Mobile and a<br />

Digital (Web);<br />

• Network opera<strong>to</strong>r (TIMB): includes activities conducted by <strong>Telecom</strong> <strong>Italia</strong> Media Broadcasting for the<br />

operation of the analog and digital broadcasting networks of La7 andd MTV and thee Digital Multiplex<br />

channels operated by thee group, in addition <strong>to</strong> accessory services and radioo and television<br />

broadcasting<br />

platforms offered <strong>to</strong> group companies and<br />

third parties.<br />
