By means of Figure 3.1.32 it is possible to calculate the uncerta<strong>in</strong>ties associated to<br />

Model-b predictions for the daily ur<strong>in</strong>ary excretion rate. The plot relat<strong>in</strong>g to an exposure via<br />

<strong>in</strong>gestion was calculated with a gut uptake factor f 1 = 5•10 -4 , but it well approximates the plots<br />

for all the f 1 factor values. A 5 μm AMAD aerosol was considered for the <strong>in</strong>halation case. The<br />

curves <strong>in</strong> Figure 3.1.32 enable to estimate whether a certa<strong>in</strong> experimental measurement is<br />

statistically <strong>in</strong> good agreement with the model predictions and their uncerta<strong>in</strong>ty.<br />
