International Labour Organisation -Bureau for Workers’ Activities (ACTRAV)As the main link between the International Labour Office and workers, the Bureau for Workers’Activities (ACTRAV) co-ordinates all the activities of the Office related to workers and theirorganisations, both at headquarters and in the field.The International Labour Organisation (ILO), whose executive secretariat is the InternationalLabour Office, is the only tripartite agency of the United Nations. In it, governments, as well asemployers and workers are represented on an equal footing. MissionACTRAV’s mission is to maintain close relations with the trade union movement throughout thevarious countries of the world, to provide it with the support of the International Labour Officein endeavours to strengthen it, enhance its influence and its activities in the defence andpromotion of the interests and rights of workers.
