366D000M 1/4/2011Installation Instructions for *FlexAIR Canopy Exhaust Connection (CEC)IMPORTANT*FlexAIR must be hard mounted to building exhaust ducting.Step# 1: Remove the exhaustfilter shipping cover located overthe exhaust filter opening byremoving the ¼”-20 hex headscrews. This cover can bediscarded.Exhaust filtershipping cover¼”-20 hexhead screwsStep# 2: Two (2) ¼”-20 doubleended mounting screws with sealwashers are installed formounting the front edge of the*FlexAIR to the top of thecabinet.¼”-20 Double endedmounting screwFront flapTapeStep# 3: Remove all bluepackaging tape from CEC flaps.Carefully hinge open the frontflap and use a strip of tape in thecenter of the flap to help hold itopen.*FlexAIR CECSection View - CECStep# 4: Make an exhaust filter protector out of thin flat cardboard or plastic that is 13 ¾” x 24”. Carefully place iton top of the filter. This will help protect the filter media during installation of the CEC mounting hardware.94
