CleaningFogging of prisms:Reflector prisms that are cooler than the ambienttemperature tend to fog. It is not enough simply towipe them. Keep them for some time inside yourjacket or in the vehicle to allow them to adjust to theambient temperature.Cables and plugs:Keepplugs clean and dry. Blow away any dirtlodged in the plugs of the connecting cables.Objective, eyepiece and prisms:• Blow dust off lenses and prisms.• Never touch the glass with fingers.• Use only a clean, soft and lint-free cloth forcleaning. Checking and adjustingTripodCircular levelThe connections between metal and timber componentsmust always be firm and tight.• Tighten the Allen screws (2) moderately.• Tighten the articulated joints on the tripod head(1) just enough to keep the tripod legs openwhen you lift it off the ground.Level-up the instrument in advance with the electroniclevel. The bubble must be centered.
