<strong>Regional</strong> Supplem<strong>en</strong>tary <strong>Procedures</strong> EUR 6-116.11.4.4 Wh<strong>en</strong> a single aircraft is experi<strong>en</strong>cing an in-flight conting<strong>en</strong>cy that impacts on RVSM operations, theassociated coordination message(s) shall be supplem<strong>en</strong>ted verbally by a description of the cause of the conting<strong>en</strong>cy.6.11.5 SSR codesNil.6.12 ATS MESSAGES6.12.1 Flight plan and departure(P-ATM – Chapter 11)6.12.1.1 Filed flight plan messages for flights int<strong>en</strong>ding to operate within the NAT Region at a distance of 110 km(60 NM) or less from the northern and southern boundaries of Gander Oceanic and Shanwick Oceanic FIRs shall beaddressed to the ACCs in charge of the NAT flight information regions along the route and, in addition, to the ACCs incharge of the nearest adjac<strong>en</strong>t NAT FIRs.6.12.1.2 For flights departing from points within adjac<strong>en</strong>t regions and <strong>en</strong>tering the NAT Region without intermediatestops, filed flight plan messages shall be transmitted to the appropriate ACCs immediately after the flight plan has be<strong>en</strong>submitted.6.12.1.3 Provided reliable ATS speech circuits exist betwe<strong>en</strong> the successive ATS units concerned with the flight,departure messages may be omitted for IFR flights operated within areas or along routes designated by mutualagreem<strong>en</strong>ts betwe<strong>en</strong> the States concerned.6.12.2 ArrivalNil.6.12.3 Boundary estimates6.12.3.1 Wh<strong>en</strong> so specified in appropriate aeronautical information publications by the States concerned, flightplans and associated flight plan messages concerning flights within or int<strong>en</strong>ding to <strong>en</strong>ter the airspace where the State(s)concerned are responsible for the provision of ATS shall not include FIR boundary estimates.6.12.4 Computer-assisted coordination(P-ATM – Chapter 10)6.12.4.1 G<strong>en</strong>eral6.12.4.1.1 Wh<strong>en</strong> so agreed betwe<strong>en</strong> adjac<strong>en</strong>t ATC units, a computer-assisted coordination process shall beintroduced to eliminate the need for verbal coordination of boundary estimates and to reduce the amount of manual datainput into ATC computers.30/11/07
