NAM 4-2<strong>Regional</strong> Supplem<strong>en</strong>tary <strong>Procedures</strong>4.1.2.3 Advanced RNP 1Nil.4.2 REDUCED VERTICAL SEPARATION MINIMUM (RVSM)Area of applicability4.2.1 A minimum vertical separation of 300 m (1 000 ft) shall be applied betwe<strong>en</strong> FL 290 and FL 410 inclusive inthe following flight information regions/control areas (FIRs/CTAs):Albuquerque, Anchorage Arctic, Anchorage Contin<strong>en</strong>tal, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, D<strong>en</strong>ver,Edmonton, Fort Worth, Gander, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Memphis,Miami, Minneapolis, Moncton, Montreal, New York, Oakland, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver,Washington and Winnipeg.Note.— Implem<strong>en</strong>tation will be promulgated by appropriate Aeronautical Information Service (AIP)Supplem<strong>en</strong>ts and included in the respective Aeronautical Information Publications (AIPs).Means of compliance(A2 – Chapter 5 and App<strong>en</strong>dix 3; A6, Part I – Chapters 3, 4 and 7;A6, Part II – Chapters 3 and 7; A8, Part IIIA – Chapter 8; A11 – Chapter 2)4.2.2 Operators int<strong>en</strong>ding to conduct flights within the NAM Region where RVSM is applied shall require anRVSM approval either from the State of Registry or the State of the Operator.
