MASTER OF SCIENCE IN HEALTHADMINISTRATION INFORMATICSProgram DescriptionAs the American population ages, the U.S. health care industryis becoming home to some <strong>of</strong> the fastest growing career fieldsin the country. At the same time, information systems havebecome an important component <strong>of</strong> health care administration.The Master <strong>of</strong> Science (MS) in health administration informaticsis designed for health care pr<strong>of</strong>essionals who want to gain adeeper understanding <strong>of</strong> the information technology systems onwhich their job executions rely and for information technologypr<strong>of</strong>essionals who work in health care settings. The curriculumcovers computer security, s<strong>of</strong>tware assurance, hardware assurance,project management, legal issues in health care, databasesystems, approaches to management, research methods, andmore.
