PP-I-2Deriving the general criterion for the estimation of the efficiency of the direct flowagitator is complicated by considerable distinctions in physicochemical properties ofthe mixed components and in the requirements to the agitation efficiency for theoptimum process operation. The simplest way to compare various devices is todetermine a relation of the agitation efficiency to the energy loss for each device atthe satisfaction of the requirements of the process to the intensity and efficiency ofthe agitation. Thus selection of the apparatus that appropriates to process execution in theoptimum way can be made by comparison of the basis parameters describing thedirect flow agitator.USED DESIGNATIONSσ is the dispersion of concentration;t is the time, s;C is concentration in the considered point;C av is the average concentration;V is the volume of the mixing section, m 3 ;S is the cross sectional area of the apparatus, m 2 ;x is the longitudinal coordinate, m;Q 1 ,Q 2 are the volume flow, m 3 /s.References[1].
