PP-II-41TECHNICAL ECONOMICAL OPTIMIZATION OF INDUSTRIALREFORMING REACTOR BY MATHEMATICAL MODELLINGSharova E.S. 1 , Klimova E.S. 1 , Karakulov A.G. 2 , Ivanchina E.D. 11 Tomsk Polytechnic University, Tomsk, Russia, e-mail: sharova@sibmail.com2 ”Achinsk refinery East Oil Company”, Achinsk, RussiaThe catalytic reforming process is the main part of high-octane petrol production.Resource management of the production mainly depends on the catalyst. Amathematical model based on physicochemical principles allows trying differentplatinum contacts for finding an optimal catalyst and producing motor fuel of betterquality and in greater quantities. The modeling system built on this model providesthe calculation of the optimal apparatus reconstruction and technological conditionsof its work. This increases the life of the platinum contact.Mathematical modelling of the reaction apparatus is a multistep process thatbegins with an examination of the laws of chemical reactions with subsequent kineticdescription. Then it is to solve the inverse kinetic problem and to establish theadequacy of the mathematical model to the real process. The last step is to createthe intellectual system for predicting the catalyst activity and process integratedcircuits with the estimation of technological, economic and environmental criteria.Taking into account the catalyst efficiency, the mathematical model of the device isdescribed by the following system of differential equations:⎧⎪G⎨⎪G⎪⎩ff∂Ci∂Z+ G∂T+ G∂Zff∂Ci=∂V∂T∂V∑j1= −CZ = 0 T = 0V = 0 T = TW ⋅ηmixpij∑jjΔHC = 0;C = C0 i i,0where Z – the total amount of recycled raw materials, m 3 ; V – catalyst volume in areactor, m 3 ;G f– flow of product mixture, m 3 /h; C i – concentration of the i-thcomponent at the reactor inlet, mol/m 3 ; W j – the j-th reaction rate, mol/(m 3·h); η – theextent of the inner surface of the catalyst grain (efficiency factor). The investigations showed that the objective criterion at the process optimizationand evaluation of economic efficiency is the degree of the catalyst potential usage. Itis numerically equal to the deviation of the current activity from the optimum. Theoptimal activity provides a balance of formation and hydrogenation reactions ofintermediate products and increases the duration of the catalyst work.j;⋅Wj⋅ηj408
