PP-III-80Our new process is pollution-free owing to ability of the HPA solution torepeatedly regeneration with dioxygen.OHOOOHPAHPAHPA+-2e, -2H + +-4e, -4H(3)HQOHBQOONQOOOOOO+HPAOHPA-2e, -2H+OHPA-2e, -2H+O(4)NQ THA DHAAQAt atmospheric pressure, a mixture of AQ and its partly hydrogenated derivatives,1,4,4a,9a-tetrahydro-9,10-anthraquinone (THA) and 1,4-dihydro-9,10-anthtaquinone(DHA), is generated in processes (3)+(4). The yield of AQ from NQ in scheme (4)reaches 60%. The yield of AQ from HQ in scheme (3)+(4) is 20%. It is important thatreactions (3)+(4) proceed without organic solvent. The mixture of slightly solubleAQ+THA+DHA is practically quantitatively separated from the HPA solution byfiltration. Studies in Siberian Scientific-Research Institute of Wood and Pull-and-Paper Industry (Bratsk, Russia) have shown that the AQ+THA+DHA mixture is theeffective catalyst for delignification of wood. For the solution of the practical problem of production of the delignificationcatalyst, we have developed new methods of synthesis of thermostable highvanadiumHPA solutions. Their regeneration with dioxygen proceeds very fast inreactor 2 at 160-170°С and ensures high productivity of a whole catalytic process.References[1]. E.G. Zhizhina, V.F. Odyakov, M.V. Simonova.
