Large collection of more than 50 autograph letters<br />
and letter cards signed by Queen Margrete II. Written<br />
from she was 5-6 years to 31 (1971). Several<br />
illustrated with small orig. drawings. Moreover 50<br />
autograph letters signed by princess Anne-Marie<br />
or princess Benedikte and 60 autograph letters<br />
signed by Queen Ingrid and others. All letters in<br />
orig. and envelopes with stamps.<br />

All the letters are sent to Helvig Lütken, who was employed<br />
as nanny at Amalienborg 1942. The collection<br />
includes employment papers and papers concerning<br />
the princess's upbringing. The contents of the letters<br />
give an interesting glimpse of the royal family and<br />
everyday life in the royal manors. The collection<br />
confirms the public perceptions of the Danish royal<br />
family as gifted and loving.<br />
