The moisture content <strong>of</strong> coals is normally measured using a moisture<br />

vaporization system. Measurements can be obtained using either<br />

volumetric or coulometric titration.<br />

Tars are subjected to <strong>Karl</strong> <strong>Fischer</strong> titration using the moisture<br />

vaporization system designed for oils.<br />
