AppServer configuration <strong>and</strong> administration<br />

3. Exp<strong>and</strong> the AppServer category, <strong>and</strong> select an AppServer broker. The Details page for<br />

that broker appears in the detail frame.<br />

4. In the Comm<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> control section of the page, click <strong>Configuration</strong>. The AppServer<br />

<strong>Configuration</strong> page opens with the Broker properties in focus.<br />

5. Click the Agent tab.<br />

From this page, you can do the following:<br />

• View a read-only display of the AppServer Agent properties as described in<br />

Table 5–8 through Table 5–11. All of these tables follow this procedure.<br />

• Click Edit to modify the broker properties. For details, see the “Editing an<br />

AppServer configuration” section on page 5–24.<br />

PROPATH The search path that agents use to locate ABL<br />

procedures that they execute. Specify a list of<br />

directory pathnames specified in the form of an<br />

<strong>OpenEdge</strong> PROPATH. Make sure that you copy<br />

all of your AppServer procedures to one or more of<br />

the directories in the PROPATH. You can enter<br />

the pathname directly.<br />

Minimum port number<br />

(dynamic property)<br />

The minimum TCP/IP port number from a range<br />

that each agent process can listen on. When each<br />

agent starts, it allocates a port that is not being used<br />

from the specified range up to the Maximum port<br />

number setting.<br />
